Layers...

We definitely need those in the Northeast this week! It is bitter cold out there!!! Although this weekend they say it might get up to 50 degrees! Yahoo!!! Can't wait. This is one winter I will definitely not be sad to see go! Anywho...today's ways to use it challenge was to layer your embellishments! Here is my attempt at the challenge...

and the inside...

Wondering why you haven't seen those images before??? Well, that's because they are a sneak peek of images that will be available next week! I say this about all the releases, but this one you really will love and will find every stamp useful for all your cardmaking needs!

I used my swiss dots embossing folder on the actual card base and the added a black panel to the back of the card base. I punched a hole in my focal panel and then ran the ribbon through from each side. I then ran them both through the hole in the paper flower (Making Memories). I decided to mimic the yellow flower centers on my image and "layered" on a spiral clip and tied it all together with my ribbon ends. Fun, fun, fun!! Don't you just love the sentiment on the inside...and those stars to dot the 'i's....love them!!! I added a star jewel colored with a copic to finish things off. The layers on the cake are outlined with dazzling diamonds.

I had alot of fun with this card even though it is pretty simple. Just think of all the great ways you can color this image!

Don't forget, you only have a couple more days to enter yourself in the drawing for some blog candy on the DRS Designs DT blog on THIS post...you could win yourself the best adhesive in the world!!! (IMO!!)

Thanks for stopping by...
See you soon...
