Yesterdays color challenge was a combo I don't normally use, but I'm pretty pleased with the way my card turned out...the color challenge is found here:

All images are by DRS Designs - check out their site on my right tool bar...my idea for the sketch was found in the SU! spring mini that I rec'd yesterday...I tweaked it a little. All my swirls are outlined with my stardust pen as well as the doodle flowers...the "leaves" were made with gold ribbon...all the flower centers are highlighted with my stardust pen too...I stamped the red flowers with black ink and cut them out...they are all popped on leftover stamp rubber.

I found time to squeeze in another card last night...a chocolate bunny! Doesn't he look yummy?!

I tried purples but in the end stuck with the pink/brown combo...I stamped the DRS spotted background on the pink panel with pretty in pink ink and the bunny is stamped in chocolate chip...I water colored the bunny and stamped the egg again on pink...cut it out, colored the flowers with my white gel pen and stardust pen and then popped it on leftover stamp rubber. I did some faux stitching and paper piercing...used my slit punch to make a tab and ran my ribbon through it. I added some silk flowers and added jewels to their centers.

Today is Wednesday - sketch challenge day! I'm sure I'll be back later!!!!
