Better late than never!!

I'm here - I did the color challenge too!!! Of course I had to wait until after dress rehersal for dd's dance class AND a rousing game of two on two softball...me and dh against the kids...now I know that might not sound fair but with me on dh's team it was as if he was playing by himself!!! I think I will stick to stamping!!!!

I like this combo! I think I will use this as a thank you card for dd#1's girl scout leader that is "retiring" after this school year. I think these colors work great with the actual girl scout colors! Two of the stamps used are my new toys! The dotted circle is from Impress...I inked and then stamped several times in each color. The flower is by Outlines Rubber Stamps...I inked it in chocolate chip and colored the dots with the CC colors and then cut it out. I stamped on the reverse of the blue piece, cut that out and adhered it just behind the white one. It is popped over a black scallop that is dotted with white gel pen. The bottom is cut with my SU! slit punch and then hole punched. The sentiment is from the Papertrey set. I added a few jewels here and there too...in case you couldn't tell from the glare!!!!! I think it looks kind of like the designer paper cards everyone is making now...yes? no?...well, I think so and I'm stickin' to that!!!
