A challenge...

it sure has been a challenge getting cards done lately...or anything for that matter!!! Work has been super busy but hopefully that will change soon, even if the change is temporary! I was able to finish one of Thursday's diry dare challenges to make an elegant card...I struggled with this for some reason...here is the result...

I stamped the new DRS flower image (it is several flowers in a line - there is also one stamp from the new release that is just a single flower image) in silver craft and then heat embossed with silver poweder...I did the same for the sentiment. I mounted the top layer on silver paper and that onto a white card. I wrapped some ribbon around the top white layer and tied in a bow...I wanted to use a wider width of ribbon and the rainbow was all I could find...can you imagine, in a closet FULL of ribbon, that is all I could find? Geesh! I added a pink edged prima with a silver brad for some color. A simple card that for some reason took forever to come up with!!

A new bunch of challenges was released today and we're in for more tomorrow! I have been writing them down in a pad so I can keep track and at some point - get to them!! I'm still trying to figure out how to get a well lit photo with my new photo box...bear with me!
