What can you do...

with one of those HUGE binder clips that always seems to get in the way when you go to close your desk drawer??????? How about this....

All images by CC Designs, Halloween set. Click on photo for a closer view.

This clip measures over 1.5in long...I covered the base with black and white polka dot paper left over from my Witchy card from the other day (although you can't really see it). I stamped my pumpkins, ghost and Donald on a coaster. I colored them with my new Copic markers. I only have the basic set so not alot of blending of colors going on but they do color quite nicely. The project is actually colored with a mix of Copics and SU! markers based on the color needed. I knew because of Donalds skinny arms that I would need some sort of backdrop so I cut an oval from Vintage Violet using my Creative Memories cutting system. I edged it with white gel pen stitches. Donald was stamped on the oval so his arms would show and then I adhered his coaster body to the oval. The ghost is adhered to the oval with a pop dot and the pumpkins to the clip with a pop dot. I tied some ribbon on to dress up the clip top. The ghost is outlined with my Sakura Stardust pen. I colored Donalds shirt and outlined the pumpkin mouths with colored glitter gel pens I stumbled across in Walmart one day!

This was a fun project...adaptable to any occasion!
I hope you enjoyed this weekends projects - they were both alot of fun. I have more up my sleeve so stay tuned.

If you've been following my blog (and actually reading all my blabber (LOL), we found out today that DD made the travel basketball team once again!!! Yeah! When you have to try out each year you still get a little nervous, especially when new kids come on the scene. She is so excited!!! Whew, glad that waiting game is over - we've been waiting to hear since Friday night - that's alot of stress for an 11 year old!!!

See you soon...
