The color of elegance...

is there such a thing? Well, today's color challenge colors seemed to set the tone for elegantly colored cards!

My first...images by DRS Designs...

The sentiment was stamped repeatedly on the narrow strip...and the robe was paper pieced with white. I distressed some of the edges...a quick card with a big statement, wouldn't you agree?

Next up is another Stylized Flowers card...images by A Chemistry With Paper...

I stamped the sentiment repeatedly on the "river rock like" layer! I also added the smallest flower in the set in between the words and highlighted its center with my white gel pen. I stamped the flowers on white, colored the borders with black and cut them out - they are so easy and fun to cut out! I popped the flower by the ribbon but all the others are adhered to the card. I added circle punches and jewels to the flower centers. I machine stitched on this one too! The ribbon is SU! thin organdy (note to self - order more!!!) I have had it for several years now, (can you believe that?!) and I noticed today that it is getting low! I have yet to find a nicer white organdy than SU's! That's about it on this one...it looks more complex than it really is!

Thanks for stopping by...
See you soon...

I love both of these cards. The flowers pop out so wonderfully. Awesome job on the colour challenge.
