Here's a quick candy treat made from recycled jar! I used a Heinz gravy jar but any old jar will do...
Images are from the new release from CC Designs, Monkey Love - available at 10p Sat. night 2/9 (that's tomorrow!!!!!)
I cut a circle from a sheet of window cling for the focal image on the jar. After cutting one circle, stamping and coloring, I realized that the image/coloring was too transparent and just didn't show up well enough. So, after some thought, I decided to rub on some quick drying white chalk ink and it worked! Once it was dry, I stamped the image in black stazon and then colored with my SU! markers. The hearts in the background and on the cap are from the new Big Ol' Backgrounders that will be available tomorrow as well. I used red stazon for those. For the cap, I simply used two sided tape and adhered my ribbon. I used my Creative Memories circle cutter for the circles and adhered those with two way tape too. I added some stitches with a white gel pen. The tag is one of the sentiments from the set. I filled the jar with kisses, tied on some organdy ribbon and it's ready to go!
I'll be back...
see you soon...
