Phew!

I finally found time to stamp today!! I combined today's color challenge with the technique challenge from yesterday - scored grids...

Images by DRS Designs...all but the chocolate chips on the sentiment panel are new releases!!!!

You can faintly see my scored lines (courtesy of my scor-pal) on the main layer. The flower background is new and is an "inter-locking" background so you don't have to stamp it perfectly the first time...it's ok to overlap with this one!!! I wanted to do something different with this card so I made a pocket behind the fence for the sentiment panel to slide into. I photographed the fence stamp so you could see the actual size...all I did was line it up with my previously stamped image, several times and voila!, a fence!!! The sentiment panel was stamped in yellow with chocolate chips, in addition to the sentiment in black. I stamped the background again in black on white and cut out a few pairs of blossoms and then colored them and adhered them to use as pulls on the sentiment panel. Some ribbon and white gel pen dots finished it off! This was a fun card, although in my head, it looks a tad bit better!!! End of the day tiredness, I guess!

Thanks for checking in...more new releases to come. Don't forget to stop by the color throwdown blog tomorrow and try your hand at this weeks color challenge!!!
See you soon...

This is a wonderful card. I love how the sentiment fits behind the fence. Very clever idea. Joan
