Here is the first...images by DRS Designs...
I know, you're probably thinking it's too early for Xmas cards!!! These new releases from DRS Designs are so cool though, I just had to make another Xmas card!
I stamped one of the new large stars on the background panel and then stamped two ribbon slides and cut them out. I used one as a ribbon slide and the other I tied my ribbon through and attached the whole thing with a pop dot. The sentiment panel is made up of two stamps - the sentiment and the flourish wording frame. Aren't the new wording frames the coolest thing...you can use them for ALL occasions and I bet they would be AWESOME on a scrapbook page for a sentiment, quote or date.
and the second...
This one uses a background stamp, stamped in versamark for a subtle look and a new ribbon stamp from DRS Designs. This stamp is actually one of two images on one piece of rubber. There is an outline bow and a solid bow depending on your mood when you use the stamp!!! Today I was in a coloring mood, so I used the outline image. I colored it with my Bics...it is actually a nicer looking purple than my camera show you! I stamped the bow on a scrap, colored it and then cut it out and adhered it with pop dots. The sentiment is one stamp that I inked partially, cleaned and then reinked the other portion. Such a pretty font, I love it! I had one off white silk flower left so I cut it in half and adhered each half just underneath the focal strip. I added jewels with glue dots.
And just for something different, I decided to embellish the inside of the card today! This seems to be a new trend so I thought I would give it a whirl. I was short on time so I didn't get too detailed but I think it does the trick! This is such a pretty sentiment and goes perfectly with the sentiment on the front of my card. All images on this card are by DRS Designs...
Thanks for checking in...
See you soon...
