A classic class photo!

Remember those days in school - school picture day? Our first of the school year was today...the second will be in a couple of weeks. I forgot how stressful class pictures can be when you are middle school age...luckily DD#1 reminded me this weekend and this morning!!

Anyway...as soon as I saw this new image (available 9/15/08) by DRS Designs, I thought...that looks like a class picture!!! So, here is my card reflecting that thought!

I used some really cool green shimmer paper as my main layer and then colored in the various socks/stockings of the class with my markers. Some photo corners finished off the look I was going for. I stamped the image twice and cut out the three "kids" in the front row and adhered them with pop dots.

Here is a shot of the inside of the card...also new releases...

The bat is a sequin (?) from my stash...he is adhered with a tiny pop dot. The little ghost (although he resembles one of the kids in the class) is a separate image from the "class"!

This was a fun one and this new release of images is fun, fun, fun too!!! Be sure to be checking in on the DRS DT blogs (list on my sidebar) in the next few days as more sneak peeks are revealed. The stamps will be available for purchase on 9/15/08!

See you soon...
