First, the Wednesday Color Throwdown challenge:

Here is my card, images by DRS Designs...
I thought this owl was perfect for a spooooky Halloween card. I stamped the background scene twice, once on my teal layer and once on yellow, cutting out the moon and adhering it to the teal layer. The owl was stamped on white, colored, cut out and raised on pop dots. I tore the top layer and then stamped the sentiment, adding some twill ribbon and a large brad to finish it off. The teal layer is also lightly sponged with brown ink.
The All That Scraps DT challenge this week is also a color challenge...

Here is my card using a combination of CC Designs stamps and the newly released AmyR Stamps!!
The clouds/grass/flowers are from the CC Designs Sugarplum scenery set and the clothesline posts are from the Sugarplum Halloween set! What a fun card this was to make! The little clothespins are from the Target $ spot a loooooonnnnggg time ago! The clothes and sentiment are from the new Amy's Boutique and Boutique sentiments sets. The clouds were colored by dipping a Q-tip into my craft pad and then dotting the clouds until I had the coverage I wanted. I faux stitched around the teal layer.
Feel free to play in one or both challenges. There is no time limit and anyone can play. Be sure to post a comment on the respective blog posts so we can come check out your creation. Also, if you upload to SCS, please use the keyword CTD11 or ATSDTC18 for the respective challenges.
Thanks for stopping by...
See you soon...

Great cards Cathy! I love your throwdown card, those are such great colors to work with!
Love the owl card, but I have to admit, the one with the "items" hanging on the line is my fav!

Great cards, Cathy! How lucky are you to have 2 color challenges today!
Love these, Cathy! I may have to try the Color Throwdown challenge (I'd already written it down to try if I have time!). Love the idea of hanging the clothes!
Cute card, Cathy! Love 'em both!
