Rubber Duckie, you're the one...

is the song running through your head yet?! You can thank me for that later today!!! (LOL) Today brings a new release from CC Designs...Rubber Duckie!!! Bear and Monkey are back together again and this time having some sudsy fun!!!

Here are two of my projects, but more are floating around in my head...so stay tuned!

First, a card...



This was one of the first ideas that popped into my head! I stamped the duck in bliss blue repeatedly on 8 circles and then stamped one in black and colored him in. He is also raised on a pop dot. The arrow (cuttlebug die) is raised as well and I added some bling for good measure! The paper, also from ATS is SEI. I added some black Offray ribbon on the left. Inside it reads....rubber duckie you're the one... one of several sayings in the set.

Next up is a little bath treat for our niece...she has new baby brother and I thought I would send along some fun stuff for her when I send the baby gift! Stay tuned for that...at some point!! Hopefully I will get them the gift before he has his first birthday and grows out of the little outfit I found!!



I found this cute little bar of soap with a mesh covering on it (by Johnson & Johnson) at the grocery store and thought it would be perfect! I found some coordinating ribbon in my stash, wrapped it around and added my scallops. I tied the ribbon ends together with some embroidery floss. It's hard to see but I added black glaze pen to monkey's eyes and clear glaze to the bubbles and suds. Both pens are available at ATS, they are by Sakura. Warning...these bars of soap have a nice but STRONG scent to them...if you are sensitive to things like this...be aware!! (They come in a wrapper inside the box, but I opened it to complete the project.)
