Color Throwdown...

challenge #15!!! Can you believe we have been doing the color throwdown challenges for 15 weeks now?! Wow!!! Today we have more fallish colors...

I chose to make a Thanksgiving card...images by DRS Designs...

To be quite honest I wasn't really sure how I wanted to handle these colors! I decided to keep it simple and make a traditional looking Thanksgiving card...the main image is stamped in chocolate chip, I used my threading water punch for the scallops and then machine stitched the kiwi layer and twill ribbon to the card. I used a glaze pen on the grapes. There is piercing (using an Ornare piercing template) down on the chocolate portion although it is hard to see...here is a close up...

Still a little hard to see but you get the idea! You can also click on the photo for an even closer look!!

Be sure to stop by the Color Throwdown blog to check out the other designers cards and to participate! We'd love to see what you do with these colors...be sure to post a direct link to your creation and if you upload to SCS, please use the keyword, CTD15.

See you soon...

Oh, I LOVE the piercing! Glad you took a close-up picture! Love the zig-zag stitching over the twill, too. Awesome card, Cathy!

This is such a pretty Thanksgiving card, Cathy! I just love the twill and especially how you stitched it differently than the cardstock! Cool!
