I stamped the images with brown craft and heat embossed with clear powder. I then colored with my markers and added some white gel pen highlights. The flake was inspired by the ones that Anna Wight has been making this year. Her photography is much better than mine in catching the sparkle! Now I know why I saved these ornaments for the past few years!!!

I simply rubbed the flake on my chocolate chip ink pad and then sponged the areas I couldn't quite get at with the pad. I covered it with diamond dust glitter, I then cut a sizzix flake from shimmer paper and covered that in the glitter as well. After punching another shaped flake from kraft paper, I covered that with glitter and then added a button with wire running through the holes. I replaced the gold cord with twine.
A quick inexpensive wrap to dress up a candle!!

That SNOWFLAKE is absolutely GORGEOUS!! I've seen so many snowflakes lately...real ones, punched ones, chunk board ones, and THIS ONE--it's Fabulous. What a great little gift. Happy Holidays and hope you have a very Merry Christmas! =)
