Thursday (almost Friday) already?

Wow, the week flew by!!!

Today was the ways to use it challenge on SCS - to use envelopes in our design...good timing because I needed to make a gift card holder for dd to bring to a party this weekend. What better to hold a gift card than an envelope, right?!

see...it really is an envelope...

and the final packaging...

I found the envelope idea in the December issue of PaperCrafts Magazine. Yes, the party is for a 12 year old boy, hence the skatboarding image!! I hope he likes it! I thought this would be a cool way to wrap it up without having to use "goofy" wrapping paper!! (LOL ;-) ) I used a box from www.clearbags.com Ugh, I don't remember the size but it is larger than an A4 size envelope...like the next size up. I simply added some kraft shred and added the black cardstock strip across the front. Some twine finishes it off!

I have a couple more cards to show you today....another attempt at yesterday's sketch challenge...

and the inside...

and since we're on the subject of baby cards...here is another one that I made a couple of weeks ago and didn't have a chance to post yet!!!

The kitty is one of two kitty images that were recently released by DRS.

Phew! If you got this far, thanks for staying with me!!!
Thanks for visiting today...
See you soon...

Have all of the cards below been made by you or just bought and collected?
