Happy Mid- Week!

second post for today...

Today was the sketch challenge on SCS...although I've used a similar sketch several times recently, I haven't used the split panel on the front. So...here is my new creation...Images by DRS Designs...the sentiment is a new release that will be available on Saturday, 4/4/09!!



Yes, I did have fun with this one!! I used a small hand held (new to me!) rotary cutter for the green slopes. The rain is an easy background image from DRS, along with the grass. I stamped the grass in two colors of green. Isn't this happy bee the cutest? The flowers in the corner of the focal image panel are found here. The flowers on the crests of the hills are from this snail trail image and the flowers on the grass are from the snails shell from yesterday's card. The snail of course is a new release that you can snap up on Saturday!! Yes, there was alot of cutting involved!!! But it was a fun card. The sun is stamped with this mega circle image and then I added jewels that were colored with my yellow Copic marker.
