Spring colors and an extra!!

It's Tuesday, that means the color challenge over on SCS...some spring colors for today!!

Here is my creation...images by DRS Designs...



I thought it would be appropriate to make an Easter card with these colors and chose an older image from DRS that is one of my favorites - the praying bunny! So cute! I decided to make him a brown bunny today! I kept the card pretty simple as these aren't really colors I would have chosen for myself...but that's why it's a challenge, right?! The border punch is one of the new EK Success ones from Michaels. They are very cool and they lock in the down position so they take up alot less storage room than some of their competitors! The sentiment on this card is a new release that is available now, along with the pigs and snail and turtle!!!

And now, the "extra" portion of my post!! I thought I would share another creation from the latest release of images by DRS...another Spring card, but this one sports much brighter colors!!!

Isn't this a pretty sentiment? I love the daisy flower corner too...so much fun to make a frame with! The butterflies look like punches but they are actually this silhouette butterfly image, stamped in versamark and then cut out and adhered to the card!
