Welcome back to yet another Color Throwdown color challenge!!!
This week's colors are:
and my card...
Images by DRS Designs...
These colors were a challenge for me, so I kept my card rather simple!
I chose to make a birthday card using the birthday multi greeting (P219) as my background panel. I stamped the cake (H493)in black craft and heat embossed with clear powder. I thought this edger image (P083) was a fun birthday addition. Some jewels were a finishing touch.
Be sure to stop by the other designers blogs to see their awesome creations with these colors. If you play along, post a direct link to the Color Throwdown post and if you upload to a public gallery, please use the keyword CTD42.
See you soon...

What a cute card ... love all the little gems! What fun ... just the way a birthday card should be! Great job!
Love it! Embossing is my favorite technique...there are just so many styles it can be incorporated in!
I LOVE how different your card is to the rest of ours and I LOVE the dominance of the black with just a touch of soft yellow! Great bling too!
Cathy, this is so cute! I love both the cake and the background images! They really pop!
Love the gems on this! This a very modern and sophisticated card! Very nice!
