Did you know...

that May is National BBQ month?! See, you learn something new every day! Today's limited supply challenge on SCS was to make a card for little known holiday in May.

So, in honor of National BBQ month...here is my BBQ card!

Images by DRS Designs...

and a shot of the inside...

I've been wanting use this grill image (H021) with these colors for a while now and today was the perfect time!! As you can see I stamped the sentiment (G145)on the front of the card and then again on the inside so you can actually read it in its entirety! I stamped my favorite grass (E059)image in celery and garden green. The "smoke" is white craft and grey ink sponged on over the top of the grill. The grill itself was stamped with black craft, heated with clear powder and colored with markers. I then added a coating of crystal effects to give it some shine.

Sone masculine brads, a snip of gingham ribbon and some twill ribbon stamped with this zig zag border image (P905) in red stazon ink finishes things off!

Thanks for checking in...be sure to stop back over the weekend for ArtfulINKables Saturday AND my Sunday post on the DRS Designs blog.

See you soon...

This is awesome, Cathy! The color on the grill with the CE is perfect, and the smoke is, too! Love the sentiment stamped for the background, too!

Cute! My husband gets all the glory for the BBQ, while I'm the inside cook who does all the rest - is that how it works at your place?
