It's Official...

the summer season has begun...in spirit but definitely not in weather!! Here in CT it's chilly and getting ready to rain!

Today's color challenge on SCS was definitely of a summer nature...

This sentiment (H584) makes it easy to make a quick and fun card! These colors were tough for me so I made another clean and simple card. I stamped the solid bow edger (P903)in orange ink and stamped the large margherita glass (G017)off in the same orange ink so it was lighter and didn't take away from the sentiment.

I found some colored bridal flowers at Michaels several months ago in the exact color as my blue paper. I added some yellow dew drops, also from Michaels to finish things off. If you look closely you can see a portion of the border punched blue panel. One of my favorite EK Success borders...I use it on almost everything!

Thanks for checking today...thanks to everyone who stopped by my blog on the Cards for Heroes blog hop...what a great success that way. Thanks to everyone involved and thanks to coordinators for allowing me to be a part of it. I hope you enjoyed it as well. If you are wondering what I am talking about, check out the post below for more info!

See you tomorrow for a Color Throwdown!!

So pretty! I love the flowers...have some myself. And in case you ever need a color in them that you can not find, just use the white! That's what I bought and I just color them to match each time.
