It's time for another DRS Designs Blog Challenge...this time the challenge for the team was to make buckle cards!! You can find the tutorial HERE on SCS.
Here is my retirement buckle card, images by DRS Designs...
and the inside...
The focal image (K994) and sentiments (vertical (D941) and verse (G910)) on this card are all new releases by DRS. The background on the kraft layer is Vicki's versatile background (H369) - one of my favorites and very...versatile!!! After posting my card, I realized that I have the buckle on the outside of the front flap rather than under it...I meant to do that!!!! LOL Oh well, I think it looks better with the style card I made. I used a ribbon slide (C075)for my twill ribbon to give it a more masculine look. Some rolled up twine and a large copper brad finished things off.
Be sure to check out the creations of the rest of the team. We would love for you to play along with us. Just post a direct link to your creation in the comment section of the challenge post. If you upload to a public gallery, please use the keyword DRSC23.
Thanks for checking in...
See you soon...
