Checking things off...

my to do list!!! It was may day off today and in between errands and chores, I tried to check some "stuff" off my stamping to do list! I've been wanting to try making a tri-shutter card ever since it was the focus of a recent technique challenge on SCS and today was the day! I decided this would be a great card for our niece who just turned 3 AND I combined it with today's ways to use it challenge on SCS, to use office supplies!!

Other than the unusual folds, the card is pretty straight forward. I used both fairies in the set and added some ribbon from Michaels dollar bin as well as some of the bridal flowers and added jewels to the centers. I used a large paper fastener in the center of the silk flowers. I added some crystal effects and dipped it in dazzling diamonds. There is a green staple on the sentiment panel. I attached a snip of ribbon with it, but I forgot to take a photo! Oops! Sorry about that!!

The fun butterfly image is by DRS Designs, stamped in versamark dazzle ink, but it is retired.
