Color Throwdown #53

It's that time again...time for another Color Throwdown color challenge. Danielle chose our colors this week and they are...



here is my creation using this pretty combo...images by DRS Designs...



I chose to change things up this week...I made a card but I made a card with different kind of opening than my "usual"! I simply cut a half circle in the top front of the card fold, being careful not to cut thru the fold. I then placed a circle and scallop punch over the card flap base. This butterfly and flower image (H1068)was the perfect side. I couldn't resist using this sentiment (G604) with the focal image and I even inked up the butterfly again, using versamark ink, and stamped it next to the sentiment. Some ribbon finished things off. I also used a glaze pen on the popped up butterfly to make it stand out a little more.
