Critter Christmas

Hi there - Welcome back to another week and another Operation Write Home (formerly Crads for Heroes) inspiration card post! As you may know, DRS Designs has organized a card drive for OWH and we would love for you to help us. Today's post on the DRS Designs blog explains the program and highlights some of the DT cards that will be sent to the troops and to provide inspiration for you to make cards to send to the troops as well.

Here is my creation for this week's inspiration post (check back every other Monday thru October for more holiday inspiration!)...

Images by DRS Designs...

As soon as I saw the new Santa hat (B022) in the latest release by DRS I just knew I had to pair it with the Dustin Pike images released earlier this year. Oh, I had to give Leonard the pig (D718)a holiday hat too!!! I kept the cards simple as I wanted to make a bunch. Each hat has some flocking on it since I couldn't use glitter. A little bit of ribbon and a simple sentiment (A121) finished things off.

Be sure to stop by the DRS blog and the blogs of the DT to see their holiday cards for the troops. We can't wait to see yours!

See you soon...

Such a fun set of cards! I've been trying to figure out where to use that adorable santa hat image and these guys are perfect. Awesome coloring, too, and it really pops against the white card base!!
