Saturday Spotlight...

with Hidden Potential!!! Have you visited this new challenge blog hosted by none other than Vicki Parson of Stamped Smiles and a fellow DRS Designs DT member? Well, what are you waiting for? Every Saturday, Vicki will be posting a new challenge. This week her challenge is being sponsored by DRS Designs, and guess who Vicki asked to be a guest designer???? Yup, you guessed it, ME!!! I'm thrilled with the honor, thanks Vicki!!!

So, today's challenge is to use a tree in our creation...well DRS has a whole bunch of cool tree stamps. I chose this summers end tree with fence image (M036)...

Check out the autumn flowersoft on the branches...cool, huh? This is my first time using flowersoft...what a cool, ingenious product! I used a simple two way glue pen to adhere the flowersoft. I stamped a portion of the autumn sentiment (D704) on a tag, attached it with a binder clip and stamped the rest of the sentiment "Autumn" on the inside of the card. I even dusted off my sewing machine for this one!!!

Be sure to head on over to the SSwithHP blog and check out Vicki's DT creations!!
Thanks again, Vicki.
See you soon...

Beautiful card, Cathy! The Flower Soft is gorgeous and I love how you stamped the tree in the background. And hey, you have to let me know where that fence comes from... I think you used it on a card I have at the store and people constantly ask me about it! :)

Gorgeous tree, Cathy! It looks so touchable and just like an autumn tree in all its glory. How fun to use the bare tree behind the main image for a preview of what's to come!
