Card Patterns!

Hi, Welcome back! If you entered into my blog candy giveaway earlier in the week, be sure to check my last post to see if you were the lucky winner.

Today, I have a card using a sketch presented to you by Card Patterns. I thought this was a fun sketch and here is my card. I used my favorite DRS Designs images on this card. DRS is sponsoring the Card Patterns challenge this week so be sure to head on over for your chance to win a prize!!!

I just love this skate image. I mounted them on what is supposed to look like a door. I dry embossed it and then stamped in chocolate ink with the textured background stamp. The red panel is stamped with snowflakes. I highlighted the centers of each flake with a Stardust pen. I used some felt ribbon that I found at Michaels..love it!!! I stamped the skates twice, cut one skate out separately and mounted on a pop dot. The laces were "laced" with red/white kitchen twine.

Be sure to head on over to Card Patterns, you wont be disappointed.

See you soon...
