Holiday Cards...

I had a few minutes to play last night and had an idea for a basic Holiday card...I'm still in the process of deciding what cards to make and if I don't decide soon, everyone will be getting a different card! Which might not be a bad thing! I chose a simple design with non-traditional colors. There has been alot of discussion about die cut machines on SCS lately...I have a Sizzix and since it does pretty much everything I need it to do (like cut through practically everything you want it to -cardboard, metal, paper and ribbon!)...I'm stickin' with it! As you can see the cards are pretty much the same...on the first I die cut the flake from white cardstock, covered it with two way glue and covered that with SU! dazzing diamonds...I then mounted that on chipboard. For the second, I cut the flake from wide velvet ribbon and mounted that on chipboard as well. Both flakes are "popped" away from the card with left over stamp rubber. The sentiment is a $1 stamp I found at Michaels...nice font for $1...I think!

Very very nice!
I love your cute little embossed cards as well as the Christmas ones.
I think it'd be so fun to make different cards for each person!
