Watermarks...

Lately there has been ALOT of discussion over at SCS about the need for watermarks on cards...the need arising due to people stealing images and claiming them as their own work...needless to say I felt I needed to jump on that bandwagon as well...Within the last month or two I too started watermarking my cards as you could probably tell. Recently I've been asked how I did my watermark...well, after cruising threads on SCS I saw that someone recommended UMark lite and that they offer freeware - free downloadable software for just this purpose. So, that is what I did...I (and DH! because I am a computer misfit) went to:
http://www.snapfiles.com/reviews/uMa...umarklite.html
downloaded the free software and went from there...took only a few minutes and we were good to go. I know there are lots of programs out there...separate software, programs you can pay for etc...but this is working for me right now. I do however have to input my watermark each time I post a card that I want the watermark on...not exactly sure how all the other programs work.
There are a ton of threads on this subject over at SCS - if you want to learn more go into the general stamping forum, click on search and input watermark...
Happy Super Bowl Sunday...
See you soon...

Thanks for the watermark info. I've been wondering about that.
