Products of a clean workshop!

I said I would clean, and I did!! I put everything away (that could go away...and that had a place) and I vacuumed!!! It's amazing what a little vacuuming can do...I should do it more often!!!

So here is what came out of a clean room...
First a card for today's color challenge...http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=244873

I stamped my SU! paisley background on pink with an orchid brilliance pad...cut the bottom edge with my scallop blade. The ribbon die is a cuttlebug die...I layered the pink with a black cut out. I stamped the pink with the paisley as well. I attached a heart brad, used a slit punch on the shimmer paper corners and added some jewels. The sentiment is a Michaels $1 stamp. I added some jewels to a few of the bottom scallops too! The ribbon is popped and the entire focal point is popped. A simple card with a statement...I think!

Next up is a belated b-day card! My good friend Deb's son, Evan, turned 9 on Sunday and celebrated with a pirate themed party. This, needless to say, is his card! I just rec'd these adorable stamps from www.allthatscraps.com. They are C.C. Designs stamps...I fell in love with them as soon as I saw them! I have a bunch more so when time allows...

I used another new cuttlebug embossing folder on this one called traffic jam! That is dry wall tape in the corner that I ran over my black ink pad...my finger are now completely black and I'm not sure how to remove it!! Oh well, it will wear off in time!! I sponged brown on the bottom of my focal point for sand...dotted the sand with a brown marker and added some jewels. The sky of course is sponged in blue! I drew a freehand frame around Mr. Pirate Bug! The entire focal point is raised on pop dots. The sentiment is made with my Dymo label maker. The 9 is from a Walmart alpha and I used my Martha punch for the gold starburst. I pierced a little to finish it off.

Ok, off to put dinner in and move on to another project! I need to make a gift box for a party a neighbor is having on Friday...I found a cool one in the Fan Club gallery (if you're not a SCS fan club member, by the way, you should be!!) that I am dying to try out...wish me luck!

See you soon...

Your cards are soooo cute!!! I love to stamp and craft. I found you thru SCS. I am going to have to check out the cuttlebug.

Your cancer card caught my eye as my ladies motorcycle riding group does a Breast Cancer Awareness Ride every 1st Sat in October to raise money. We raised over $5,000 this last year. But the reason I mentioned this is I want to make bookmarks to hand out to everyone who participates, but I'm still thinking of how to design it. Your card is an inspiration.
