Did you miss me?!

I'll be in an out over the next couple of weeks - busy, busy, busy...after that school will start and hopefully all will be back on track!! I hope you continue to check in...I will post when I can! In the meantime I will also be making a list of fun things to post for you in the future...outside of the usual challenge cards...we all need a little variety once in a while, right?!

Here's a card for you - not challenge related, just a quick one to show one of my new DRS Designs images...(click for a closer view)



I tried to keep with the "western" look here - just browns and some black. I was also low on time so I tried to keep it as simple as possible. The image is stamped in chocolate chip and then I colored in parts of it with my bravo burgundy marker. The sentiment, also by DRS, is a separate stamp. (Their link is on the right if you need it!) I added some brads and popped the image...the background is stamped with the DRS plaid stamp in chocolate chip as well. I pierced along the "empty" side and added a corner...not sure what kind of corner it is, but after a little finagling, I was able to get it to work. I used some DMC embroidery floss to tied the two sides together.
