Not your typical

Halloween card!!! Today's color challenge on SCS was to use, light pink, rose red and olive...my plan today was to make a card with this "priceless" stamp...when I saw the challenge, I thought ok, what flowers should I use...then it occured to me that I dont HAVE to use flowers...why not look outside the box a little and kill two birds with one store...so here you go...my color challenge Halloween card!!

I stamped the focal point in olive and the dots in rose red. Attached some black grosgrain ribbon where the pink and green meet. I stamped Happy Halloween in olive as well. The focal point is raised on pop dots. The spider (isn't he cute?!) is from the cuttlebug halloween die...I added some google eyes and some jewels on some of the dots. The spider has a tiny pop dot under its tummy. Whenever I look at this stamp I always think girlie (after all what guy would you send this sentiment to?!) so I think its appropriate that there be some pink and jewels on there - even if it is for Halloween! Right? Am I right??!!

Today was the first day of school - the house is sooooo quiet!!! I did a little cleaning...just enough to justify working on another project!! ;-)
See you soon...

Great card, love that you used these colors for Halloween, and the jewels just top it off.
