Are you chilly?

Wow - last week was so hot here in the Northeast and today it was downright chilly!!! So, since I don't have any cards to post tonight (I will tomorrow, I promise). I thought I would share a tutorial that I posted last year on how to make soup can scarves...
It is pretty simple to learn...as the the weather turns cooler and all the fun fall crafts get under way, the stores should be running sales on yarn! This is also a great craft for kids (dd#2 - 8 yrs has made a few!) to make as scout projects, etc...dd#1 made a whole bunch last fall to donate to the local need family Christmas drive. YOu can make them for warmth with the thicker yarn or for fun with all the funky yarn thats on the market these days!!!
Check out and be sure to let me know if you have any questions!!!
Have fun...
See you soon...

Hi there! I am going to try this scarf, but I have a really stupid question. The scarf you have in your picture appears to be really long. If you keep wrapping your yarn around the hills and valleys on that soup container, how much can it hold? In my mind I am picturing it getting all bunched up on there and having no more room to keep going.
Thanks!
Sandy
