It's done...the birthday gift for dd's friend is done just in time for us to go to a family event which will bring us home late and the party for her friend is tomorrow! Nothing like cutting it close!!!
(Click on photo for a closer view) I found the mirror this week at the Target $2.50 spot! It was a greenie blue color which I painted with white paint. I then covered the front with my patterned paper. I adhered it with modge podge, sanded the edges and then applied another coat of modge podge on top. Once it was dry, I embellished. Her name is cut with my Cuttlebug Olivia alpha - first I ran the dp thru my Xyron and then stuck it to a thin piece of chipboard and then cut the letters. I adhered them with crystal effects. The bug is stamped on SU! shimmer paper and is by CC Designs. I backed that scallop with a scallop cut from certainly celery. The flowers on the bottom are by Making Memories and the top flowers are primas. I had to add some jewels since it is for a little girls room!! A pretty simple project - the paint took longer to dry than the actual project!!
Thanks for stopping by...
See you soon...
