that special touch for your holiday cards? DRS Designs is offering a custom stamp this year for all your holiday cardmaking needs!!! And, here it is (mine anyway!)
An elegant version:
I used my snowflake embossing folder for the card base...I stamped my image in gold craft ink and then heat embossed with gold powder. I tied some SU! gold cord on the side and done!!
This one took a little more time but was a fun card to make.
I stamped the image in black and then colored with markers. I stamped the scroll again on parchment like paper, cut it out and then popped it...I did the same with the hand/arm but stamped it on cardstock. The focal is raised on pop dots and I stamped my DRS polka dots in red on red. I stitched around the perimeter with my handy stitch in a much neater stitch - I had a little more area to work with, which makes it a little easier.
You can have the stamp say Happy Holidays or Merry Christmas and shipping is free!

I gave today's technique challenge a try - 2/5/7/10 boxes...I've the shorter version before and they are always fun, although this was my original vision for this particular box...the other image I wanted to use...was too big! You'll see that on a card later in the week!! ;-)
I constructed my box out of kraft paper and stamped my pine bough in close to cocoa and then used my green markers to give the pine some color. I stamped my ornaments on kraft in rose red, cut them out and popped them. I tied some gold cord above each for the hangers. I stitched around the outside as my handy stitch was still out...the area was small and I wasn't too precise - gives it country feel, right?!
The border image is a DRS new release - I colored the dots with my red marker and the wave with my stardust pen. The flap is cut with my scallop scissors.
There is a great tutorial attached the to the thread on SCS - check it out if you are interested in making these boxes. All images on this box are DRS Designs.
Well, I'm on the run again - older dd's meet the teacher night...
See you soon...
