Homework for October...

Hi there...yes, I changed the look again, for the month of October anyway...after spending some time fiddling with the template, I finally found a pink background that I liked and was not nauseating!! Hope you like it...Speaking of October...Daphne (and you) have homework for this month...to get a mammogram...if you already got one - yeah, good for you!!!!! Your next homework assignment then, will be to click on the logo on the right (once every day) to help fund mammograms for women in need! If you didn't get one yet, here is Daphne to help you remember! (click on photo for a closer view)

The ways to use it challenge on SCS today was to use twill...you can see it at the bottom of my card. All images on this card are by CC Designs, Gone to School set. (Keep in mind that you can purchase these stamps individually as well as in the set.) The patterned paper are some scraps that I thought would coordinate well. Daphne is stamped in black and colored with chalk pencils. I wrote on the chalkboard with my white gel pen. Once again, I stitched with my sewing machine...I'm getting pretty good - threading the darn thing only takes about 5 min. now instead of 20 min!!!! It seems now that no card looks finished unless I sew on it - I'm sure that will pass...right?! The jewel brads on here t-shirt and awareness ribbon on by Making Memories. I found the twill at Joanns. The arrow is part of a cuttlebug die that contains three different shape/size arrows.

Thanks for stopping by...
See you soon...
