Main image is by High Hopes Stamps and the sentiment is by Papertrey - Green Thumb set. I colored the image with markers and my aqua painter. This is also the sketch from yesterday's challenge. The green layer is embossed with my flower folder. I sewed around the outside of the card and my focal point. My "wood" is a wooden sun that I found at my grocery store at least a year ago during their Dollar Days! It came in a pack of 8 or 10. This is the first one to be used!!! Yes, I hoard! I admit it!
Next up for today is another fun project but not for today's challenge. This is one of the things that has been on my "to do" list. I can't remember the name of this toy but it is one of things where you try to get the BB in the hole! All images are by CC Designs, Halloween set.
I apologize for the picture...it was a tough one between the angle and the glare! If you have any questions, let me know! This is made with a Wilton favor tin or some people call them watchmaker tins. I cut a piece of fun foam to fit the bottom and then layered my card stock on top...I colored the images with my Copic markers - what great, rich color they produce. I punched the holes and then placed it in the tin...I then wrapped a large orange ribbon around the outside to keep the tin shut. The ribbon is adhered with two sided tape. I used my SU! tag punches for the tag!
These are a quick and fun toy for a classroom, friends, scout troops...don't take long to make at all and the BB's (found in the hunting section at Walmart) come in a pack of at least 600!!
I'm in the middle of another wood project - a gift for DD's friend...if all goes well I'll post it later tonight or tomorrow...I didn't get much done today because it is my birthday and of course I had to go shopping! Oldest DD says she wants to take me out to dinner tonight...she says for my birthday, I think it's because she didn't want the meatloaf I originally planned for!!! ;-)
Thanks for checking in...
See you soon...
