Gettin' Back Into It!!

Hi there!!! I hope you all had a good holiday! No plans for New Years here, yet! We had a quiet Christmas this year which was a nice change of pace, I guess I'm hoping NYE will be the same! So, here we are back into the swing of things, sort of! I got some mail today...new images from CC Designs, two new sets that are to be released on Jan. 4, 2008!

So, since I rec'd these in the mail today, AND I had this idea floating around in my noggin since I saw a preview of the images, I had to use them for today's ways to use it challenge on SCS...to use stazon ink...AND to give to give YOU a sneak peek!!

The earrings are made from shrink plastic...the piggy is from the new Love Ya Lots set...the "Valentine" sentiment is from the Love Ya Much set! Ribbon is May Arts. I stamped the image with black stazon and colored with colored pencils. The heart on the tag is cut out, raised on a pop dot and highlighted with a stardust pen. The hearts are sizzix die cuts. I plan to package this in a clear bag and tie closed with the tag (that is embroidery floss on the tag - love the color!)...these would make great dd gifts (;-)) and friend gifts! Quick and easy! The stamps, ribbon, and stardust pen can all be found at All That Scraps. The jewelry "parts" were found at Walmart.

Once I started stamping tonight, I didn't want to stop - it seems like forever since I last stamped and it was only last week! The following card sports a new image by DRS Designs, which is available now!

This is for this weeks sketch challenge and the ways to use it challenge, since I stamped the image and sentiment in brown stazon.



A simple card...I cut the circles with my Creative Memories circle cutter and the focal image (new release) is stamped on the olive layer with versamark ink. I faux pierced and then decided to add some gold ribbon. The blossom centers are highlighted with stardust pen although it is hard to see in the photo. I added two gold brads to finish it off. Almost forgot, I colored the blossoms/leaves with markers and sponged bliss blue around the image to look like sky.
