Ugh, what a challenge filled day! The SCS gallery is all wonky today so rather than posting my photos there and then here...I'm just posting them here until it's fixed! It's true what they say - you don't know what you've got, 'til it's gone!!! It's frustrating but I'm sure all will be resolved soon...
It took dh two hours to get to work this morning...he works an hour away as it is so that added hour didn't help - an overturned truck closed the highway this morning... it took an hour and a half for him to get home tonight because it is snowing and he had to take a different route because the highway is still closed! All activities were cancelled this afternoon so I'm sure I will have company at home with me tomorrow...;-)
Meanwhile...while nursing a cold I was able to work on today's color challenge...
A new image by DRS Designs...
Pretty cool, huh? With these colors, it makes for a very retro Easter card! You can probably tell, but the green eggs are popped...I machine stitched around the outside of the card. The egg background is stamped in versamark and heat embossed with clear powder. I couldn't resist adding a green galore prima!!!
This one is from Holiday Treats by A Chemistry With Paper...
Don't these treats look yummy? This is a long card and will fit in a business envelope. I cut my paper length wise and folded. I added a doodlebug paper frill (scalloped edge) on the inside of the card and cut a slit with my SU! slit punch. The paper frill was white but I colored it with my green copic to match the challenge. The treats have liquid applique on them for frosting! I tied a bow and attached it with a glue dot!
Well, now I'm hungry!!!
Thanks for checking in...
See you soon...
