Use Patterned Paper?

and not just one but two different patterns? Egads! You're supposed to use the patterned paper you buy?! Well, that was the try a new technique challenge today - using at least two patterned papers on one card! I have a ton of patterned paper...but sometimes it just seems to pretty to be used!! (LOL) I know, I need to get past that or the paper will end up surviving longer than me!!! Anyway...this is what I did with my patterned paper today...

Images by CC Designs...Little Penguins...I made them into little spring ducks!!!

All supplies can be found at All That Scraps. The patterned paper is by Three Bugs in a Rug - Blossom Collection. the ribbon is May Arts and the flower a Prima Mini Me. I added a dew drop to the flower center. The "ducks" were masked so they appear to be sitting on each others heads and the last one is floating away because of his balloons!! I sponged blue sky and green grass although it doesn't show well in the photo. This was a fun card!

I hope your week is off to a good start. I'll be back soon with some new images from A Chemistry With Paper...stay tuned!!

See you soon...
