for a Happy Mother's Day!!! Sorry, I got busy with the gardens early yesterday and then went to see family so I never got a chance to make anything, let alone post! I hope all you moms out there had a wonderful day! I really celebrated on Saturday because I had the house to myself and completed SIX scrapbook pages in the heritage book I am making for my Mom!!!! Then youngest dd and I went to see dh's band play in New Haven AND THEN they took me to dinner!!!! I also got breakfast in bed yesterday - first time in my life I have had breakfast in bed!!!!
Anyway...back to life as we know it!!!! Today was the technique challenge on SCS - water coloring an embossed image. I haven't done this in a while so it was a nice change of pace to pull out the old aqua painter!
Images by DRS Designs...I stamped the flowers and ribbon slide on watercolor paper in black craft ink and then heat embossed with clear powder. I water colored with my markers and aqua painter. I really like how the ribbon slide came out - such a pretty stamp! A simple card for a simple kind of day...not really a "mojo" Monday here...too much yard work yesterday, I guess!!!
Thanks for stopping in...be sure to keep checking back as I have some exciting "stuff" to share with you as the week goes on!!!
See you soon...

This card is so pretty! Love the flower and the watercoloring - looks like spring!
I like this card....the shape of the pieces is unique so it makes it special. I especially like the "buckle" over the ribbon. Joan
