a CHALLENGE addict that is...I bet that got your attention!!! It's a gloomy day here in CT so what better excuse to make cards!!! I popped in on Jen del Muro's weekly sketch challenge and decided to give it a whirl...
My first...images by DRS Designs (Don't forget DRS is looking to add to their design team...if you are interested check out the site!)
The star and eagle images were stamped in black craft and heat embossed with clear powder. The star on the left is a piece of chipboard cut with my sizzix and covered with blue glitter. The other two stars are brads. It's that time of year to start breaking out the patriotic stamps with Memorial Day and July 4th quickly approaching!
Next up is a thank you card...images by A Chemistry With Paper...
I had a sheet with the flowers (Stylized Flowers) stamped and colored from another challenge idea that never made it into a card and then I remembered I had some patterned paper that would match (I believe it is Making Memories - I do know it came in a kit from Target a while back that I found on clearance). The top two flowers are adhered to the white panel and the petals are bent up...the lower flower is raised on a pop dot. The flower centers are dew drops. The sentiment is from All Year Bag Toppers - it is a one line sentiment that I stamped one word a time, making sure the first word was cleaned well enough not to make another impression. I added some jewels and I was done!
That's it for today...
See you soon...
