Something different...

a card, but a different kind of card!!! DD got an invite to a birthday party yesterday...that is to take place on Thursday! Yikes, talk about cutting it close!!!

On one of my visits to Lauren Meaders blog I found this post...and I decided to combine the sketch with today's color challenge...

Images are by CC Designs (Lucky from It's My Birthday) and DRS Designs (puzzle)

and some other views...along with the coordinating envelope with Lulu from the CC Designs set carrying the gifts!!!

I stamped the image on the card, cut and scored and then stamped the image again on a scrap. I colored it and cut it out and then mounted it on top of the card image with pop dots. The name was cut with the Olivia cuttlebug alpha. A little time consuming but a fun card to make!!!

Tip on adhering the die cut letters...as you can see I didn't have a lot of room for the name letters...I adhered the "M" first and then went to the other side and adhered the "N", then back to adhere the "A" and so on...I hate it when you have letters spaced nicely and then run out of room and they get lumped together...this seemed to alleviate that problem!

REMINDER - If you are interested in trying out for a design team, DRS Designs is looking for you!!! Click here to go right to the info. page!!! Time is running out!!! Hurry!!!

That's it for today!!! Thanks for stopping by...
See you soon...
