Just a simple card to start the day...as we all know sympathy cards are hard to make...so are cards for people who are terminally ill...this is one of those...
Images by A Chemistry With Paper...from the spiritual sentiments set...
My sister-in-laws dad was diagnosed last week with stomach cancer and initially was given a prognosis of 2-3 months...earlier this week they changed that to 2-3 weeks...needless to say a get well card just wouldn't be appropriate...this set by ACWP is perfect for these cards as well as sympathy. There are several "spiritual" sentiments in the set, as well as thinking of you, etc. along with very simple images that can be kept simple or made into something more elaborate depending on the situation.
The card is a pre-made embossed note card stamped in chocolate chip ink. The ovals are a sizzlits tag die...I stamped the fern in garden green and attached a Making Memories aged copper brad.
There is not much you can say at a time like this so I thought the simpler the card, the better.
Thanks for stopping by today...
See you soon...

this is such a lovey card, love the simple elegance of it.
Very elegant and so thoughtful of you. I think this sentiment is definitely appropriate. We need more sentiment sets like this one.
