This was a new fold for me but boy, is it fun!!! So many possibilities! Since all the color challenges this month will have pink in them, I decided I would make this a breast cancer awareness card. I love this little awareness ribbon by DRS, it is the perfect size for any kind of cancer awareness card. The cool stars were part of the first Christmas release for 2008 by DRS but I thought they would be pretty for all year and decided that pink would be a perfect color for them!!! I used brilliance ink and they are nice and sparkly!!! I first stamped them in pink and then stamped the center in black on a scrap and cut it out. After stamping the ribbon, I adhered them to the larger star centers with a pop dot. The middle star in the back is scored on the thin lines and then folded for cool dimension. I trimmed the edge of my front panel with my threading water punch and then added some jewels. A relatively quick card once I decided on just what I would do...the deciding part...not so quick!!! (LOL)
Don't forget about the DRS Designs blog challenge going on this week and next...use a sentiment for your focal point! Be sure to post a link so we can come check it out!!!
See you soon...
