Handstamped by...

Me! Today's challenge over on the DRS Designs DT Blog was to use one of the DRS Recognition/Handstamped by stamps as a focal point. Here is my project...

I decided to make a little notecard gift set. I used some of my favorite images by DRS...the daffodils are perfect for notecards and this sentiment just completes the look. I used two of the new scallop punch images - I stamped them in versamark ink, heat embossed them and then punched and layered them behind my focal image. I used one of the new handstamped releases for the back of my card and this one for my belly band to complete the look. The butterflies were stamped again on a scrap, colored and adhered with pop dots. I did the same with the butterfly and one of the daffodils on my focal image. Raising these images helped in two ways...it added dimension to my cards AND it allowed the belly band to stay around the cards without slipping off!
