Yes, I'm posting much later than I had hoped to today!! I should be used to days getting away from me but it still happens!! I mentioned yesterday that I would be back with more cards for the limited supplies challenge on SCS...using hearts. Here is the little set I made...a great set for using up all those pesky scraps of paper and ribbon!!
Images by DRS Designs...the heart is a newly released image. It is so shiny in real life as I stamped it with red craft and then heat embossed with clear powder.
Here is the bundled up package of 3 x 3 cards...I made a belly wrap to hold them together. DRS has tons of sentiment stamps - sentiments perfect for the inside and outside of cards and sentiments that you might use for other purposes such as giving gifts or for homemade/handmade gifts you might give as a friendly gesture...this one in the center of the band is one of my favorites...
I stamped the image twice...once in black craft and once in red...both were heat embossed and then I cut the hearts off the red and adhered them to the black with a pop dot.
Here are all three cards...I used the heart cuttlebug embossing folder.
Here is a shot of the back showing one of the many recognition stamps DRS offers...they just released a bunch more last week! I love this tiny sentiment stamp...perfect for tiny valentines such as these or inside another stamp like one of the new scallop frames that were just released...
These would be great Valentines to make for your kids to pass out to friends...they are quick, easy, don't require alot of supplies AND you can use up the ton of scraps you have lying around...that IS one of your New Years resolutions, right??? to get rid of the clutter and use up all those scraps before cutting into more paper?!!! (LOL)
Be sure to stop by tomorrow...I have some exciting news for you and on Monday we start a new DRS Designs blog challenge...I hope you can play with us...;-)
See you soon...
