Borderline...

Some of those who know me may say that I am at times (LOL) but borders were what today's technique challenge on SCS was all about! We were to use a cut out border of a stamp or patterned paper or even an embossed panel. I decided to cut around my stamp images...of course!!!

Images by DRS Designs...

The sentiment on this one is a new image that is available now. I stamped the large beer mug and masked a couple of times, then colored and cut it out. I stamped the smaller beer mug on my green panel in versamark ink. I roughed up the edges of the green and kraft panels to make it more manly!! All the foam on the beer mugs is covered in liquid applique!! The little mug is covered with crystal effects...don't they look yummy?!

This was a great challenge - a great opportunity to look outside the box on your images...that's the best part about stamping...I love coming up with ways to use the images that they might not have been intended for. Even stamping a partial image can give it a whole new look and purpose.

Thanks for stopping by...don't forget the check out the DRS DT Challenge that is currently going on...making Valentine treats. Also, plan to take a visit over to the DRS Designs site...THE NEW IMAGES ARE UP AND AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE!!!!!

See you soon...
