Welcome back to another Color Throwdown color challenge!! Today's colors are....
Great Valentine colors, huh?! So guess what I made....yup, a Valentine!!!

Check out that new Martha Stewart heart border punch!!! I didn't have the exact colors for this challenge being that I really don't use that many SU! papers so I matched as best as I could. Feel free to play along in the Color Throwdown challenges even if you don't have the exact colors either...just match them as best as you can! I love this Cupid! I used the Martha Stewart flourish stamp at the top of the focal panel and then just rounded the corners. I used the swiss dot embossing folder on the chocolate layer and then added some yummy white velvet ribbon. The heart brad is from the Target office supply section...it was silver until I colored it with my red copic marker! I added a Sizzix heart to the circle with my sentiment.
Be sure to stop by the Color Throwdown blog to check out the other designers cards and be sure to visit their blogs as well! If you participate be sure to stop back the Color Throwdown blog and leave a comment with a direct link to your creation - we'd love to see it. If you upload to a public gallery, please use the keyword CTD28. Don't forget, if you play along your card could be featured next week AND you could be chosen as a guest designer in March!
Thanks for checking in...
See you soon...

LOVE your card Cathy!! This Cupid is adorable and you've really set him off nicely with the way you "cut" your panel ... clever! Very "well put together" card ... fantastic!!
This is so sweet, Cathy! I love the crossing heart panels and the great shaped top! Great coloring too!
The tiny heart borders are so pretty and your layout is so nice! Cute cupid too!
Wow, you got lucky I think... I've heard a few people say they went out looking for that punch and couldn't get one! Your card is fabulous! Your coloring is awesome, and I love that bracket punched at the top, too!
LOVE this little Cupid, Cathy!!! And I love the way you crossed that punched border.
