Color Throwdown #30

It's the middle of the week...again! Time for another Color Throwdown color challenge...so fun colors this week...

I decided on a fun birthday card...images by DRS Designs...new releases available now!!

What a great candle image, huh? So much fun to color!! I stamped the solid balloon image randomly on the light blue layer in versamark ink. I decided to get funky with my darker blue layer and just randomly cut the strips and adhered them. The focal panel was punched with the Martha Stewart flourish border punch and raised on pop dots after adhering the striped K & Co. brads.

Make sure to take a visit over to the Color Throwdown blog to check out what the other designers have done and better yet, stop by their blogs too! You'll find all their links on my sidebar OR by their project photos on the actual post. We'd love for you to play along - just add your link to Mr. Linky on the Color Throwdown post and if you upload to a public gallery, use the keyword CTD30.

That's it for today!
See you soon...

Those striped brads match perfectly, and those candles look like they could dance right off the card! Love your funky background stripes, too! Great card, Cathy!
