balloon...for your birthday!!! I am having a ball with these new DRS Designs birthday images!! They are so much fun...did you order yours yet?
I thought this balloon image needed to be in the spotlight since it's been in the background on most of my other cards! I stamped it in red craft ink and then heat embossed it with clear powder. I left the string uninked while inking the balloon and then inked it up with a marker and stamped the image. I love this grass image...it is so versatile! I stamped it first in green ink and then again in celery. I sponged celery with a cotton ball and then sponged light blue for the sky using a scrap scallop punch out to achieve the cloud look. I pierced two holes on either side of the string and added a floss bow. The sentiment is simple and to the point! I scored three lines on the left side with my Scor-pal.
Short, sweet and to the point! You could use this card for a child or a child at heart! I hope this inspires you...cards don't always have to be laden with embellishments to be special!
Hope you're having a great week...
See you soon...

Cathy,I love this card! The red really stands out & it's simplicity is awesome! Love how you created the scene!
This is darling Cathy!! ;) I'm lovin the score marks on your creations lately!! I must do this once in a while!!
So cute...love the clouds and grass, they are great!!
Perfect way to showcase that balloon! Sometimes doing "simple" cards are more difficult than ones with all the embellishments! :)
